Airbnbuncovered is on YouTube!

I'm so proud to announce that I'm taking my blog over to YouTube!!

I think that YouTube is a better medium for the blog. It's visual and more engaging.  You'll be able to easily listen and watch, or just listen, instead of having to read an entire blog post. It's also the future of blogging. And I'll be able to more easily uncover the best kept hosting secrets -- since I'll be actually able to visually demonstrate what I'm talking about. 

This past year has been filled with unexpected challenges and opportunities. While I'd wanted to devote more time to this blog, my Airbnb co-hosting business was growing. I added 3 new co-hosts to my main Airbnb business and it's was a busy year. Deciding to create a YouTube channel over simply writing a blog also added a number of technical hurdles. My expertise lies in hosting and marketing -- not video creation. But I think I now have the technical parts figured out! 

Over the past few months of 2019, I began automating some of my tedious and mundane Airbnb hosting tasks with the goal of devoting more time to this blog. The automation has worked and my hosting stats are now the strongest they've ever been. I'm seeing more bookings too!  I'll also be growing my team to lessen my day-to-day workload -- again with the goal of having more time to create content for my YouTube channel.  2020 will be my year to create my YouTube channel and share everything that I've learned after hosting over 3000 guests.

I will be uploading a new video to YouTube weekly. The videos will all be aimed at new hosts who are just starting out. They'll uncover the best kept hosting secrets - tips, tricks and best practices so you can become a Super Host in your first quarter. You'll get my experience and learnings from hosting over 3000 guests and hundreds of hours of research on the best ways to host and use Airbnb.

You can access my YouTube channel directly on YouTube or you can visit the blog on my website. I'll create a blog post for each video. The posts will include a video overview and transcript as well as any guides, cheat sheets or checklists that go along with the video.
